Set the policy value for User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Microsoft Outlook 2016 -> Security -> Security Form Settings -> Programmatic Security -> Trusted Add-ins "Configure trusted add-ins" to "Disabled".
Verify the policy value for User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Microsoft Outlook 2016 -> Security -> Security Form Settings -> Programmatic Security -> Trusted Add-ins "Configure trusted add-ins" is set to "Disabled".
Procedure: Use the Windows Registry Editor to navigate to the following key:
HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\security
Criteria: If the value trustedaddins does not exist, this is not a finding. If the value trustedaddins exists, but with no entries, this is not a finding.
If the value trustedaddins exists, with entries, this is a finding.
In some reported configurations, the value remains after disabling the setting but the value is empty.
